As we all try to navigate life during the Coronavirus pandemic, the following resources are available to help our community manage their needs during this stressful time.
Help Hillsborough County Stay Safe – RESIDENT SURVEY
Hillsborough County needs your input to help us better serve our community. Please take this survey for Hillsborough County residents to help local leaders understand what residents already know about COVID-19 testing access and how we can get the word out to residents who need more information.
Re-Employment Assistance – NEW WEBSITE
The alarming spread of COVID-19 has put most—if not the entire—world on hold. Offices, restaurants and businesses of all kinds are closing or limiting their hours and unfortunately, it’s resulted in increasing amounts of unemployment around the country.
If you or someone you know has recently lost their job and needs help with unemployment benefits, call 1-800-204-2418 or apply for assistance on the new reemployment website. The site is mobile-friendly, allowing you to apply on your phone or tablet.
Job Search Assistance
As public activity comes to a standstill, so have most businesses. More and more people are losing their jobs and don’t know where their next paycheck will come from.
If you or someone you know needs assistance looking for a new job, call 813-930-7400 or visit Career Source Tampa Bay website to find companies that are currently hiring.
Family Assistance
It’s hard to make ends meet when working isn’t a possibility anymore. And it’s even harder to keep your home afloat when you have to divide your time between watching the kids and putting food on the table.
If you or your family are looking for assistance with social programs or support, call 211 or visit Tampa Bay Cares to find information on resources that can help you.
