Manufacturing was and always will be an integral part of building America. As the industry has evolved over the decades, driving technological innovation and creating thousands of highly skilled jobs, some perceptions of the field have lagged behind. 

Here, Michael Wilson, robotics and engineering teacher at McLane Middle School, corrects these misperceptions by sharing how far manufacturing has come, and how much farther the field could take us all—especially his STEM-focused students—in the future.
